Cassia County 24-Hour Release Gap
No official Cassia County release-labeled 24-hour feed was found in the complete jail reports menu, county search, or public data endpoints. The menu offers Outstanding Warrants, Recent Bookings, and Jail Roster. The roster is current custody. Recent Bookings is admission history. Neither data source contains a release date, release time, release type, or destination, so neither can be renamed or filtered into a valid same-day release list.
The county's older statement that its database updates every 24 hours describes refresh timing, not people released during the preceding day. Its current facility page says data updates frequently and warns that recent status changes may not appear. Read those statements together. The display is operational, but it is not real-time proof. Cassia County expressly directs people to confirm status by phone or in person.
Check Cassia County Daily Releases
Start while the booking details are still visible. Record the full name, booking ID, MNI, booked date, case number, and holding agency. Those fields help the jail distinguish a person and reveal whether Cassia, Minidoka, the state, or another authority owns the case. A name alone can be unsafe when aliases or similar names exist.
- Search the current jail roster. Presence means the person is currently displayed as housed, subject to the county's lag warning.
- Check Recent Bookings only to establish the admission and capture its identifiers. Do not treat that page as releases.
- Call (208) 878-1000 and ask whether the identified booking ended within the last 24 hours, at what time, and whether it ended in community release or transfer.
- Use Idaho iCourt and the case number to read the bond, own-recognizance, dismissal, commitment, or other authorizing event.

A useful release sheet may tie the booking to the date and time it ended, release type, authorizing court or agency, and receiving custodian if public. Ask for those fields. Do not assert that every field is stored or releasable. Bond means a release condition was met, not that the case ended. Own recognizance means release on a promise to appear and any court terms. Transfer means custody changed hands.
Cassia County Roster Is Not Release
Cassia's current roster can be searched by name or booking number and displays booked time, days in jail, inmate type, agency, case, charges, bond, and a photo. Recent Bookings displays date, subject, photo, demographics, and charges. Their detailed admission data can make a missing release field easy to overlook. Yet absence today proves only that the name is not displayed on that current roster.
The Mini-Cassia facility is regional. Its records include Cassia, Minidoka, State, and Courtesy Hold inmate types, along with federal and immigration-related custody. A person may post bond or leave on own recognizance. Another may transfer to IDOC, a different county, the U.S. Marshals Service, or ICE. Ask who had custody next.
Cassia County Release Record Request
For documentary proof, use Cassia County's official Public Records Request form. It allows examination or copies and asks for a clear description, contact information, and delivery preference. Jail records go to the Sheriff custodian. The form does not publish a flat booking-photo or per-page price, so request an estimate and electronic delivery rather than promise a cost.
Describe one event precisely: full name, date of birth if known, booking ID, approximate booking date, and case number. Request the booking/release sheet or equivalent record showing booking and release times, disposition, authorizing authority, and transfer destination if public. Cassia joined Idaho Sheriff Connect in 2025. The official app descriptions advertise jail information, news, and events. The research sweep did not verify a Cassia recent-release screen or released-person module. Treat the app as supplemental access, not the missing 24-hour release feed.
The county website definitely supplies photo URLs for current roster and Recent Bookings entries. A photo that remains visible does not prove continued custody. A vanished photo does not prove release. Save the booking identifier, not just the image, because that number helps connect the admission to the later release record.
The official Cassia Sheriff App page is the right source for current download links. App features can change, so check the live interface without assuming that store language guarantees a release list.
Confirm Cassia County Release Outcomes
Read the court event after the jail call. Idaho iCourt can show a bond or own-recognizance order, dismissal, judgment, jail sentence, or commitment to IDOC. A signed order is strong proof of legal authority, but it may coexist with another hold. Match it to the jail's physical-custody event.
